Job Description
Including but not limited to the following:
Bill of Quantities (BoQ) : Prepare and develop accurate Bills of Quantities by meticulously "taking off" quantities from engineering and architectural drawings. The role involves creating comprehensive and detailed BoQs that serve as the foundation for project cost estimation and tendering.
Design & Project Collaboration: Coordinating with the design team, engineers, and clients. Identify value-engineering opportunities to ensure the project remains within the budget while meeting design specifications.
Tendering: Manage the full tendering process, which includes preparing tender documents, issuing BoQs
Job Requirements
Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field is required.
Work Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience as a Quantity Surveyor within an engineering or architectural consultancy firm.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in relevant software, including AutoCAD, and other project management tools. A strong understanding of design documents and specifications is essential.
Language Proficiency: Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English and Arabic are mandatory.
Core Competencies: Strong analytical, and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. The ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team is a must.
