Job Description
- Coordinate and manage the end-to-end export process, ensuring timely and accurate shipment of goods.
- Prepare and review export documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers to arrange transportation and clearance.
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any logistical issues.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, export laws, and company policies.
- Communicate with clients and overseas partners to provide updates and address inquiries.
- Negotiate freight rates and service agreements with logistics providers.
- Maintain accurate records of export transactions and documentation for audit purposes.
- Identify opportunities to optimize export processes and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as sales, procurement, and finance to support export activities.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in export operations, international logistics, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of export documentation and customs regulations.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in using export management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in documentation.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of Incoterms and international shipping practices.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
