Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Manager with strong business development skills to join our medical events company. The ideal candidate will manage client accounts end-to-end, ensuring successful delivery of medical events while proactively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. This role combines strategic client management with revenue growth responsibilities and requires a deep understanding of the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
Account Management
• Serve as the main point of contact for assigned client accounts (pharma companies, healthcare institutions, medical societies, etc.)
• Understand client goals and ensure timely, high-quality delivery of event services.
• Coordinate with internal teams (event planning, production, marketing, logistics) to execute events that meet medical industry standards.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
• Handle post-event evaluation and ensure client satisfaction and retention.
Business Development
• Identify and target new clients in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries.
• Develop and pitch tailored event and partnership proposals to potential clients.
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Represent the company at industry conferences, expos, and networking events.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and client needs.
Strategic Input
• Contribute to the development of new event concepts, service packages, and client engagement strategies.
• Provide insights into market needs and recommend service improvements or innovations.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to create targeted campaigns and promotional activities.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in account management, business development, or client services—preferably in the medical events, healthcare, or pharma sectors.
• Proven track record of managing high-value client relationships and generating new business.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of compliance and regulatory considerations in medical/pharma events (e.g., EFPIA, MICE guidelines) is a strong plus.
• Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Fluent in English; additional languages (e.g., Arabic, French) are a plus.
