Job Description
* Establish the document control system and related procedures from scratch.
* Receive, archive, distribute, and manage all technical project documents and drawings.
* Issue and maintain document logs and version control.
* Coordinate with design, planning, and site teams to ensure up-to-date information is circulated.
* Manage and track document reviews and approvals (Submittals, Shop Drawings, RFIs).
* Generate periodic reports on document status and circulation.
* Implement consistent policies for digital and physical document archiving.
* Enhance information flow and reduce risks from outdated documents.
Job Requirements
Academic Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related engineering discipline.
✅ Experience:
* Minimum of 3 years in a similar role within a construction or consultancy firm.
* Prior experience in setting up or developing a Document Control function is preferred.
* Proficiency in document control platforms like Aconex, Procore, Primavera Contract Management, or SharePoint.
✅ Technical Skills:
* Strong command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
* Proficient in handling PDF files and editing tools.
* Basic understanding of engineering drawings (AutoCAD or Revit knowledge is a plus).
✅ Personal Skills:
* High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
* Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
* Reliability, discipline, and the ability to work under pressure.
