Job Description
AlexForm is seeking a skilled and ambitious Architectural Engineer to join its innovative division, Metalight Facades, specializing in architectural cladding systems and decorative metalwork solutions.
This role is a key part of our multidisciplinary team, combining design excellence, technical precision and a commitment to cutting-edge façade solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop architectural façade concepts and detailed drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, 3ds Max, and Lumion.
- Produce photorealistic renders to support client presentations and proposals.
- Interpret design inspirations and translate them into manufacturing-ready files for CNC processing.
- Coordinate with Metalight’s engineering and production teams to ensure the technical feasibility and precision of architectural outputs.
- Assist in preparing shop drawings, BOQs, and technical submittals.
- Participate in design review meetings and mood board development.
- Support the development of standardized product files for architectural panels and custom systems.
- Remain up to date on façade system innovations, materials, finishes, and industry best practices.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience, including at least 2 years in façade system design or detailing.
- Strong command of design software: AutoCAD, Revit, Lumion, 3ds Max.
- Experience in technical detailing, façade design, and architectural rendering.
- Understanding of material behavior, metal processing, and cladding systems.
- Willingness to learn CNC-compatible design methods and sheet metal application workflows.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
