Job Description
Academic Leadership
Supervise curriculum planning, delivery, and assessment across preparatory stage subjects.
Collaborate with subject heads to ensure alignment with national education standards.
Monitor student progress and implement academic intervention programs where needed.
Lead teacher development initiatives focused on instructional improvement.
Student Development and Welfare
Promote a positive, inclusive learning environment that supports the holistic development of students.
Oversee behavior management and implement consistent disciplinary policies.
Support student leadership and extracurricular engagement initiatives.
Staff Supervision and Development
Assist in hiring, training, and evaluating preparatory stage teachers and support staff.
Provide mentoring and guidance to staff to ensure continuous professional growth.
Lead regular team meetings to share best practices and address concerns.
Administrative Duties
Coordinate class schedules, exam timetables, and resource allocation for the stage.
Contribute to school improvement planning and internal reviews.
Prepare reports and updates for the Principal and stakeholders as needed.
Parent and Community Engagement
Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student progress and stage-related events.
Organize parent-teacher meetings, orientations, and stage-specific workshops.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or relevant subject area (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 5 years teaching experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of national curriculum and education policies.
- Proven ability to manage teams and drive academic outcomes.
- Male is preferred.
