Nursery Head of English Department/Academic Director

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Academic Director to lead the educational vision of our nursery. This role involves developing, implementing, and monitoring the curriculum and academic programs to ensure a nurturing, high-quality early learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and continuously improve the nursery’s curriculum in line with age-appropriate developmental standards and educational best practices.

Monitor the implementation of teaching plans and daily activities across all age groups.

Train, mentor, and evaluate teaching staff on academic practices, lesson delivery, and classroom management.

Observe classrooms regularly to ensure quality, consistency, and alignment with learning goals.

Ensure that academic documentation (learning outcomes, assessments, reports, portfolios) is complete and up to standard.

Introduce new academic tools, methods, or resources to support learning.

Collaborate with the management team to ensure the curriculum aligns with the nursery’s values, vision, and educational goals.

Communicate with parents regarding academic progress and initiatives.
