Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, achievements, and areas for improvement.
Develop and deliver engaging English language and literature lessons to high school students, aligning with American and IB curriculum standards.
Design and implement differentiated instructional strategies to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
Assess and evaluate student progress through a variety of formative and summative assessments, providing timely and constructive feedback.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.

Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and support staff to plan interdisciplinary units and school-wide initiatives.

Contribute to the ongoing development and refinement of the English curriculum and instructional materials.

Minimum of 5 years and maximum of 10 years of relevant teaching experience at the high school level.
Demonstrated expertise in English language and literature instruction.
Experience with American and/or International Baccalaureate (IB) curricula is highly desirable.
Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
Ability to create a supportive and engaging learning environment for diverse student populations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in integrating educational technology into classroom instruction.
Commitment to ongoing professional growth and collaboration.
Willingness to participate in extracurricular activities and school community events.
