Job Description
- Deliver engaging and effective instruction in high school mathematics and science subjects, following both American and IB curriculum standards.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and inquiry-based learning.
- Assess and monitor student progress through a variety of formative and summative assessments, providing timely and constructive feedback.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs and abilities of students.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching strategies to enhance classroom learning experiences.
- Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and support staff to promote a positive and inclusive school culture.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental meetings, and professional development opportunities.
- Support students’ social, emotional, and academic growth through mentorship and guidance.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities.
- Contribute to extracurricular activities, school events, and service learning initiatives as part of the broader school community.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years and up to 10 years of experience teaching mathematics and/or science at the high school level.
- Demonstrated expertise in delivering both American and/or IB curriculum content.
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
- Ability to differentiate instruction for a diverse student population.
- Proficiency in integrating educational technology into teaching practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
- Willingness to participate in extracurricular and school community activities.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multicultural and international team.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
