To oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the site’s vehicle fleet—including buses, vans, and company cars—ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective transportation of personnel and goods, while maintaining compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. | |

Key responsibility | |
1. Fleet Operations Management · Supervise the daily usage and scheduling of all fleet vehicles, ensuring optimal vehicle assignment based on route and demand. · Monitor vehicle availability, fuel levels, driver assignments, and trip schedules. · Coordinate with the transportation team for coverage during shift changes, overtime, or emergencies. 2. Driver Supervision · Lead and supervise company drivers, including attendance, shift rotations, and performance evaluations. · Provide briefings to drivers regarding routes, safety protocols, and passenger conduct expectations. · Report any violations, misconduct, or tardiness to the Transportation Supervisor. 3. Vehicle Maintenance & Inspection · Oversee the routine maintenance schedule (oil changes, tire inspections, etc.) and ensure all vehicles are in roadworthy condition. · Coordinate with the Maintenance/Procurement Department for repairs, spare parts, and service contracts. · Conduct or supervise daily vehicle checks before deployment. 4. Safety & Compliance · Ensure all fleet operations comply with internal SOPs and road safety regulations. · Verify the validity of driver licenses, vehicle registration, and insurance documents. · Investigate and report on any road accidents or vehicle incidents. 5. Documentation & Reporting · Maintain updated logs of vehicle usage, mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance history. · Prepare and submit daily and weekly reports on fleet status, utilization, and incident reports. · Track and analyze fuel efficiency and cost control indicators. 6. Stakeholder Coordination · Coordinate with HR for employee transport requests and special event movements. · Work with Security and Facility Coordinators to address site access and parking regulations. · Support logistics and procurement for vehicle requests related to materials movement. | |
Job Requirements
Academic experience required |
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transportation Management, or related field. · Valid driver’s license; fleet or transportation management certifications are an advantage. |
