Job Description
- Oversee day-to-day fleet utilization, technical condition, down time, maintenance activities and fleet cost.
- Schedule regular maintenance and inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Manage vehicle registration, insurance, permits, and other documentation.
- Monitor fuel consumption, mileage, and operating costs to improve efficiency.
- Track vehicle usage and assign vehicles to drivers as needed.
- Develop and implement fleet policies, procedures.
- Supervise fleet staff and provide necessary training.
- Work with vendors for vehicle acquisition and maintenance.
- Respond to and manage accidents, breakdowns, and emergencies.
- Maintain detailed records and generate reports for management on fleet performance and costs.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or any relevant field .
- 10- 15 Years of Experience with logistics background.
- Proficient in analytical tools to support data-driven decisions, performance tracking, and strategic planning.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, scheduling, and compliance.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities.
- Familiarity with fleet management software and GPS tracking systems.
