Job Description
- Provide expert legal advice and support on a wide range of corporate legal matters in compliance with
Egyptian laws and regulations.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts and legal documents, including commercial, civil,
employment, and service agreements.
- Represent the company before governmental and regulatory authorities, such as:
- General Authority for Investment (GAFI)
- Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA)
- Tax Authority
- Labor Offices
- Civil and Commercial Courts
- Follow up on legal proceedings, manage litigation cases, and coordinate with external counsel when
needed.
- Prepare legal memorandums, internal reports, and responses to inquiries from external bodies.
- Ensure full compliance with applicable laws including:
- Companies Law
- Labor Law
- Investment Law
- Tax Law
- Social Insurance Law
- Civil and Commercial Laws
- Provide support in corporate governance, licensing procedures, and regulatory compliance matters.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in corporate legal affairs.
- Deep understanding of Egyptian legal and regulatory frameworks.
- Strong experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts.
- Ability to effectively liaise with government and regulatory entities.
- Skilled in preparing legal documentation, reports, and correspondence.
- Experience in compliance, licensing, and corporate governance is essential.
- High attention to detail, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in both English and Arabic is preferred.
