Job Description
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including supplier agreements, franchise agreements, employment contracts, and lease agreements.
- Provide legal advice and support across all departments, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, especially those related to food safety, licensing, labor, and corporate governance.
- Handle company licensing matters, including business activity permits, food safety certificates, and vehicle licensing for delivery operations.
- Represent the company before governmental bodies and authorities, including the Ministry of Investment and other regulatory entities, for approvals, renewals, and legal procedures.
- Monitor and manage legal risks across the business and propose risk mitigation strategies.
- Support in litigation matters, including coordinating with external counsel, preparing documents, and attending hearings if needed.
- Conduct internal investigations related to employee violations or policy breaches and provide legal reports.
- Keep up to date with legal developments affecting the industry and communicate relevant changes to the management team.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Law from a recognized university; a Master’s degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
- experience : 3 to 5 years of post-qualification , preferably in the food & beverage, hospitality, or restaurant industry.
- Proven knowledge of commercial, corporate, labor, and administrative law.
- Experience dealing with regulatory and licensing authorities in the region.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
