Job Description
- Lead and manage the end-to-end tendering process for construction projects, ensuring timely and accurate submission of bids.
- Analyze project requirements, review tender documents, and identify key deliverables and risks.
- Coordinate with engineering, design, procurement, and finance teams to gather necessary information for bid preparation.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of suppliers, subcontractors, and pricing benchmarks.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, technical proposals, and commercial submissions in line with client specifications.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to optimize bid competitiveness.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements throughout the tendering process.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to inform bidding strategies.
- Present bid proposals to senior management and provide recommendations for go/no-go decisions.
- Continuously improve tendering processes and tools to enhance efficiency and win rates.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience in tendering, bidding, or proposal management within the construction industry.
- Proven track record of managing complex tenders and securing successful project awards.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, cost estimation, and contract negotiation.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple bids simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite and tendering software.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams under tight deadlines.
- Up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
