Job Description

Position Overview :

The Sales Manager will lead the sales function of Ghalioungui Trading and will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing customer relationships, and developing the capabilities of the sales team. The role requires a seasoned leader with deep experience in healthcare sales who can both maintain existing business and proactively explore new opportunities to expand the company’s portfolio.

Key Responsibilities :

 

  • Sales Leadership & Management 

Lead and oversee the entire sales function across Egypt. 

Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with company objectives. 

Set, monitor, and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. 

 

  • Team Development 

Manage, mentor, and train the sales team to enhance their performance and professional growth. 

Implement structured sales processes and KPIs to track individual and team progress. 

Foster a high-performance culture based on accountability, collaboration, and results. 

 

  • Business Development & Market Expansion 

Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, including suppliers, products, and partnerships. 

Expand the company’s portfolio with innovative healthcare solutions that fit market demand. 

Build and maintain strong relationships with key healthcare institutions, suppliers, and stakeholders. 

 

  • Customer & Market Engagement 

Maintain and strengthen long-term relationships with existing clients. 

Act as the company’s representative in market discussions, tenders, and negotiations. 

Stay updated on healthcare trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes impacting the business. 

 

  • Reporting & Forecasting 

Provide accurate sales forecasts and regular performance reports to senior management. 

Analyze sales data to identify opportunities, challenges, and corrective actions. 

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Experience :

 

  • Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in sales, with at least 7 years in a leadership/managerial role. 
  • Healthcare industry experience is mandatory (medical equipment, devices, or pharmaceuticals). 
  • Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. 
  • Proven ability to lead, inspire, and develop high-performing sales teams. 
  • Strong business acumen and negotiation skills. 
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in a medical-related field (Pharmacy, Biomedical Engineering, Medicine, etc..), MBA Preferred.
