Job Description
One World Tours, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Operations Supervisor to join our team. As an Operations Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing the day-to-day operations of our travel agency. You will be responsible for coordinating various aspects of our travel services to ensure exceptional customer experiences and efficient internal processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel Itinerary Management:
- Collaborate with travel agents to create and modify travel itineraries for clients.
- Ensure that all travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, transportation, and activities, meet client preferences and expectations.
- Handle any last-minute changes or issues related to travel itineraries.
- Client Communication:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
- Provide clients with pre-travel information, including visa requirements, travel insurance options, and health advisories.
- Vendor Coordination:
- Liaise with airlines, hotels, transportation providers, and other travel partners to negotiate rates, confirm bookings, and resolve any operational issues.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure the best service for our clients.
- Quality Control:
- Conduct quality checks on travel documents, such as tickets, hotel reservations, and tour vouchers.
- Monitor service delivery by vendors to ensure it aligns with our agency's standards.
- Team Leadership and Training:
- Supervise a team of travel agents and support staff, providing guidance, coaching, and performance evaluations.
- Organize training sessions to enhance the team's knowledge of travel products and industry trends.
- Inventory Management:
- Manage and update the inventory of travel packages, including availability, pricing, and promotional offers.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date information is available to the sales team.
- Operational Efficiency:
- Continuously identify areas for operational improvement and implement streamlined processes to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for various operational tasks.
- Reporting:
- Prepare regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), such as booking volumes, client satisfaction, and vendor performance.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
Job Requirements
- Previous experience in Tourism field is a Must.
