Job Description
- Administer and maintain all IT infrastructure related to broadcast operations, including servers, storage, network devices, and broadcast equipment.
- Maintaining the fluidity of broadcast signals through the use of sound and video equipment, and controlling input.
- Collaborate with engineers and production teams for seamless integration of systems.
- Configures systems and specifies models, installs, evaluates, Calibrates, and operates equipment as required
- Responsible for installing, Repairing, maintenance& Resolving any Hardware issues of all TV broadcast Systems and equipment, Edit Suites (linear, nonlinear) & Postproduction.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Electrical Communications Engineering.
- Proficient with all broadcast systems that are used across television media channels.
- Good Knowledge of production system (Prefer Avid System)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in high-pressure environments.
- Hands-on experience with broadcast automation systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineers, Production staff, IT).
- Good Knowledge with IT hardware and software, including servers, storage systems, and operating systems (Linux, Windows, etc.).
- Understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, VLANs, multicast, etc.) and network management in a broadcast setting.
- Keeping up to date with the industry and changes in technology by building, maintaining, and investigating new systems and techniques.
- Knowledge of broadcast signal transmission and security protocols (SMPTE, RTMP, HLS).
- Project management experience in the broadcast IT sector.
