Job Description

Experience Level: 6-8 Years

Job Summary: Skilled and experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to join our Infrastructure Operations and Support team. The ideal candidate should have experience in Oracle database administration, performance tuning, backup and recovery procedures, and high availability solutions. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, efficient communication, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities:

Database Management: Install, configure, and maintain Oracle database servers (11g, 12c, 19c) in complex configurations, including Upgrades and Migrations.
Performance Tuning: Optimize database performance through tuning and troubleshooting.
Database Monitoring: Monitor Oracle Database Health, identify issues, and implement corrective actions.

Database Maintenance: Perform routine Database Maintenance tasks, such as Patching, Changes and Release Deployments.

Backup and Recovery: Implement and manage backup and recovery procedures, including disaster recovery operations.
High Availability: Implement and maintain high availability solutions using Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and related technologies.
Security: Ensure database security by implementing and maintaining security protocols for regulatory compliance.
Collaboration: Work closely with application developers, system administrators, and other stakeholders to resolve database-related issues.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience: 6-8 years of experience in Oracle database administration.
Certifications: Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification preferred.
Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, shell scripting, Goldengate and Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).
