- Lead the Operations, design, implementation, and optimization of Mongo & MS SQL database solutions to meet business requirements and performance objectives
- Perform database installations, upgrades, updates and migrations as needed, ensuring compatibility, performance, and data integrity.
- Develop and implement database maintenance plans, including backup and recovery procedures, database tuning, and performance monitoring.
- Implement and enforce database security policies and procedures to protect sensitive data from unauthorized access and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex database-related issues and incidents, working closely with application developers, system administrators, and other stakeholders as needed.
- Develop and maintain database documentation, including installation procedures, configuration settings, operational guidelines, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in Mongo & MS SQL database administration, recommending and implementing improvements as appropriate.
- Perform other responsibilities as required by higher levels of supervision
