Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Representative with a technical background in furniture to join our showroom team. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 5 years of experience in furniture sales or a related technical field. You will play a key role in driving sales, providing exceptional customer service, and offering expert advice on furniture designs, materials, and functionality. This position is commission-based, with opportunities for significant earnings tied to your performance.


Key Responsibilities


 

• Engage with customers in the showroom to understand their needs and preferences.

• Provide technical expertise on furniture materials, construction, and designs to guide customer decisions.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business.

• Prepare and present tailored furniture solutions, including custom designs or modifications, based on customer requirements.

• Collaborate with the design and production teams to ensure feasibility and alignment with customer expectations.

• Meet and exceed sales targets through proactive client engagement and follow-ups.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest furniture trends, materials, and industry innovations.

• Accurately process sales orders, including generating quotations and contracts.

• Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a professional manner.

• Assist with showroom displays and ensure all furniture pieces are showcased effectively.


 

Job Requirements

Experience: 2-5 years in furniture sales or a related field, with a technical understanding of furniture manufacturing or materials.

Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with furniture construction, wood types, finishes, and design principles.

Sales Skills: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, with excellent negotiation and closing skills.

Customer Service: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build trust and rapport with clients.

Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze customer needs and provide practical, innovative furniture solutions.

Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and CAD or design tools is a plus.

Presentation Skills: Confident and professional demeanor when presenting products and solutions to clients.

Teamwork: Ability to collaborate with showroom staff, designers, and production teams.
