Job Description
- Prepare detailed architectural/MEP and engineering drawings using Revit/CAD software based on project specifications and requirements.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure accuracy and compliance with design standards.
- Review and revise drawings to incorporate feedback and resolve discrepancies or design issues.
- Maintain organized records of all drawings, revisions, and related documentation for ongoing and completed projects.
- Ensure that all drafting work adheres to relevant codes, regulations, and company standards.
- Assist in the development and implementation of drafting procedures and best practices.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate structural, mechanical, and electrical elements into project drawings.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior draftsmen and other team members.
- Participate in project meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and solutions related to drafting deliverables.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Drafting, Architecture, MEP or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years and up to 5 years of experience in drafting or a similar role.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant BIM software.
- Strong understanding of architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in preparing technical drawings.
- Ability to interpret and apply project specifications, codes, and standards.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong organizational and documentation abilities.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
