Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior BIM Architectural Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will lead the implementation of BIM processes in architectural projects, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with international standards. This role requires advanced technical expertise, strong coordination skills, and the ability to mentor junior team members while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development and management of BIM models for complex architectural projects.
Ensure compliance with BIM standards, protocols, and company workflows.
Coordinate with structural, MEP, and other disciplines to ensure model integration and clash-free designs.
Produce and review detailed construction drawings, schedules, and shop drawings directly from BIM models.
Manage BIM documentation, including LOD requirements, naming conventions, and model deliverables.
Support project managers and architects in design development through BIM tools.
Conduct clash detection and resolve coordination issues in collaboration with consultants and contractors.
Train and support junior architects/engineers in BIM processes and Revit best practices.
Stay updated with industry trends, BIM technologies, and digital construction innovations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering (Master’s degree is a plus).
- Minimum 7+ years of professional experience in architecture, with at least 5 years of BIM/Revit experience.
- Strong expertise in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and other BIM-related tools.
- In-depth understanding of BIM Level of Development (LOD) standards and ISO 19650 workflows.
- Proven experience in coordinating multidisciplinary projects using BIM.
- Knowledge of construction methods, detailing, and building codes.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to lead a team, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
- Professional certifications in BIM (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional, RICS, or similar) are an advantage.
- Strong skills in Architecture and Architectural Drawings
- Produce organized architectural drawing sets for various construction stages and participate in discipline reviews.
- Review project Architectural drawings and specifications.
- Identify conflicts, incomplete or unclear design information.
- Collaborate and coordinate with other discipline design – changes and model challenges.
