Job Description
- Coordinate BIM workflows and ensure adherence to project BIM Execution Plans (BEP).
- Develop, manage, and maintain 3D models and related documentation across disciplines (Architectural, Structural, MEP, etc.).
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants to ensure consistent model integration.
- Perform model clash detection and resolution using tools such as Navisworks or Solibri.
- Maintain and enforce BIM standards, protocols, and templates in accordance with company and industry guidelines.
- Support project teams in BIM software usage (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, BIM 360).
- Produce and manage coordinated drawings and documentation.
- Assist in training and mentoring project team members on BIM tools and workflows.
- Coordinate data exchange and integration with external consultants and stakeholders.
- Provide technical support for BIM-related issues and troubleshoot modeling problems.
- Ensure that all models are properly archived and updated throughout project phases.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a BIM coordination or related role.
- Hands-on experience with BIM tools such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, AutoCAD, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of construction processes and design coordination.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a collaborative environment.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 19650 and COBie is a plus.
- Experience with scripting (e.g., Dynamo, Python) and visualization tools (e.g., Enscape, Twinmotion) is advantageous.
