Job Description
Primary Objective:
To lead the preparation, submission, and management of tender proposals for ELV (Extra-Low Voltage) systems, ensuring competitiveness, technical compliance, and alignment with the company's strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Tender Preparation & Submission
- Review tender documents (RFPs, RFQs, BOQs, drawings, specs) for ELV-related projects.
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals for systems such as CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, BMS, Public Address, Structured Cabling, etc.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and estimation teams to compile tender packages.
- Ensure timely submission of tenders, including compliance with all client requirements and formats.
2. Cost Estimation & BOQ Preparation
- Analyze project scope and prepare cost estimates for materials, labor, and subcontracted works.
- Develop detailed BOQs and pricing sheets based on supplier quotes and historical data.
- Conduct value engineering exercises to optimize cost while maintaining compliance.
3. Vendor & Supplier Coordination
- Liaise with manufacturers and suppliers to obtain technical specifications and pricing.
- Evaluate vendor offerings and negotiate better terms where applicable.
4. Risk & Compliance Review
- Assess commercial and technical risks in tenders and propose mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (NFPA, BS, local authority codes) and client requirements.
5. Team & Stakeholder Coordination
- Lead internal tender review meetings and clarify roles for contributors (engineering, design, legal, etc.).
- Interface with clients, consultants, and main contractors during tender clarification stages.
6. Post-Tender Activities
- Follow up on tender status, submit clarifications, and attend technical or commercial meetings as needed.
- Support the handover process to the project execution team upon contract award.

- Education: BSc in Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunication Engineering or equivalent
- Experience: 7–12+ years in ELV systems with strong tendering background
- Software Tools: MS Office (especially Excel), AutoCAD, Estimation Software (e.g., CCS Candy, Excel-based templates), ERP (SAP, Oracle)
