Job Description

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the technical office team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Assign tasks and manage workloads to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Review and approve technical drawings, specifications, and production documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with design intent.
  • Collaborate with designers and engineers to resolve technical issues and optimize production processes.
  • Coordinate with project managers to establish timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for furniture design and production projects.
  • Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality standards.
  • Maintain organized records of technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, change orders, and compliance reports.
  • Ensure that all documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure that all products meet company standards and client expectations.
  • Conduct regular reviews of production processes and suggest improvements as needed.
  • Work closely with the sales team to provide technical support during the bidding process and address client inquiries.
  • Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure the availability of materials and components required for production.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in furniture design and production.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency.

Job Requirements

  • University degree in applied arts, furniture design, or a related field.
  • 9-10 years of experience in furniture manufacturing is a must.
  • Excellent in English.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, SketchUp) and other design tools.
  • Strong understanding of furniture production processes, materials, and engineering principles.
