Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate MEAN Stack Developer Team Lead to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of developers to design, develop, and maintain high-quality web applications. You will leverage your expertise in React, Express.js, Angular, and Node.js (MEAN stack) to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Mentorship:**
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of MEAN stack developers.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
- Conduct regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Identify training needs and facilitate professional development opportunities for the team.
- Technical Expertise:**
- Design and implement scalable, efficient, and maintainable code using React, Express.js, Angular, and Node.js.
- Stay current with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and bugs.
- Collaboration & Communication:**
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, QA engineers, and DevOps.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Facilitate team meetings, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Job Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a MEAN stack developer, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong proficiency in React, Express.js, Angular, and Node.js.
- Excellent understanding of front-end and back-end development processes.
- Experience with RESTful API design and development.
- Proficient in version control systems, such as Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Knowledge of other front-end frameworks/libraries (e.g., React, Vue.js).
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
