Job Description
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems and procedures specific to the plastic industry.
- Supervise and lead the quality control team to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
- Monitor production processes and conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve quality issues in plastic products.
- Analyze quality control test results and provide recommendations for process improvements.
- Coordinate with production and engineering teams to address quality-related concerns and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure all raw materials and finished products meet established quality specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and present detailed quality reports to senior management, highlighting trends and areas for improvement.
- Train staff on quality control procedures, safety protocols, and best practices within the plastics manufacturing environment.
- Oversee the calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment and testing instruments.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce waste, and optimize operational efficiency.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 7 year and maximum of 15 years of experience in quality control within the plastic industry.
- Proven experience in managing or supervising quality control teams in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies, standards, and regulatory requirements relevant to plastics.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret technical data, specifications, and laboratory results.
- Effective leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Proficiency in using quality management software and laboratory equipment.
- Demonstrated ability to implement process improvements and corrective actions.
