Job Description
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality management systems in compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Lead and mentor the quality assurance team to ensure consistent application of quality policies and procedures across all production lines.
- Oversee the inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure adherence to quality specifications.
- Analyze quality data, identify trends, and implement corrective and preventive actions to address non-conformities and drive continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with production, procurement, and R&D teams to resolve quality-related issues and optimize processes.
- Conduct internal audits and facilitate external audits by regulatory bodies and clients, ensuring timely closure of findings.
- Develop and deliver training programs on quality standards, food safety, and best practices for staff at all levels.
- Manage documentation and records related to quality assurance, including SOPs, inspection reports, and certifications.
- Liaise with suppliers and distributors to ensure quality requirements are met throughout the supply chain.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to enhance quality management practices.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 9 years of progressive experience in quality management, preferably within the food manufacturing or food processing industry.
- Proven track record in developing and implementing quality management systems and leading quality assurance teams.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards, such as ISO 22000, HACCP, and GMP.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions.
- Experience with internal and external audits, including regulatory and customer audits.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in quality management software and MS Office applications.
- Ability to work onsite (on-premises) and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in the field of quality control of sauce and juice manufacturing.
