Job Description
- Leading and supervising all FF&E quality control activities across design, procurement, manufacturing, and installation phases.
- Expertise in auditing materials and manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with project specifications and international standards.
- Reviewing and approving FF&E shop drawings, technical submittals, and material samples.
- Conducting factory inspections, supplier evaluations, and site quality checks to guarantee defect-free delivery.
- Coordinating with project managers, designers, and suppliers to ensure quality, durability, and design consistency.
- Developing and implementing quality control plans, inspection procedures, and reporting systems.
- Specialized in hospitality and luxury hotel projects, ensuring FF&E reflects brand standards and operational requirements
Job Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design / Architecture / Civil Engineering / Industrial Engineering
Diploma / Certificate in Quality Management or ISO Standards (Optional but Recommended)
Specialized Training in FF&E, Procurement, or Hospitality Projects
Skills
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of FF&E materials, manufacturing processes, finishes, and international quality standards.
- Quality Assurance & Auditing: Expertise in developing and implementing QC procedures, performing inspections, and conducting factory/site audits.
- Drawing & Specification Review: Skilled in reviewing shop drawings, technical submittals, and material specifications for accuracy and compliance.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to detect material and finishing defects to ensure flawless FF&E delivery.
- Vendor & Supplier Management: Experience in evaluating, auditing, and managing suppliers and manufacturers.
- Project Coordination: Strong collaboration with project managers, designers, architects, and contractors.
- Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Ability to resolve quality issues quickly without compromising standards.
- Documentation & Reporting: Proficiency in preparing inspection reports, compliance documentation, and quality tracking logs.
- Hospitality Sector Experience: Specialized in luxury hotels, resorts, and hospitality projects with brand compliance requirements.
- Leadership & Team Management: Leading QC teams, training inspectors, and ensuring adherence to procedures.
- Communication Skills: Clear reporting and coordination with stakeholders across multicultural environments.
- Software Proficiency: Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Office, and quality control reporting tools.
