Job Description
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality control systems and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Lead and mentor the quality control team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to foster professional growth and high performance.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of production processes, materials, and finished products to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, root causes of defects, and opportunities for process optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and supply chain, to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for quality, reporting findings to senior management and recommending corrective actions as needed.
- Manage non-conformance investigations, implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and ensure timely resolution of quality-related issues.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of quality control processes, inspection results, and compliance records.
- Oversee supplier quality management, including audits, evaluations, and ongoing performance monitoring.
- Stay informed of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to ensure the company remains at the forefront of quality management.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control, quality assurance, or a related field, with demonstrated leadership responsibilities.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing effective quality control systems in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices in quality management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and drive actionable insights.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all organizational levels.
- Experience managing and mentoring teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in quality management software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Experience with supplier quality management and external audits is highly desirable.
- Ability to work onsite and adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
