Job Description
- Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive quality control processes for all furniture products, including indoor, outdoor, office, and contract lines.
- Lead and mentor the quality control team, ensuring adherence to best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Establish and maintain inspection protocols for raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
- Collaborate with design, production, and procurement teams to identify and resolve quality issues at every stage of the manufacturing process.
- Analyze quality data and generate detailed reports to inform management of trends, root causes, and recommended corrective actions.
- Conduct regular audits of production facilities and supplier sites to verify compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and deliver training programs for staff on quality assurance procedures and product specifications.
- Manage customer complaints and feedback related to product quality, coordinating with relevant departments to implement effective solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product durability, safety, and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure all quality control documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and in compliance with internal and external audit requirements.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance within the furniture industry.
- Proven experience in managing quality control teams and processes in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of furniture materials, production techniques, and industry standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive process improvements.
- Familiarity with quality management systems and relevant ISO standards.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work onsite and collaborate effectively with production and design teams.
