Job Description

Operations Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary remote support contact for all Teaspoon store locations.
  • Respond quickly to urgent store issues and coordinate resolutions with on-site staff.
  • Follow up on maintenance requests and ensure timely completion.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate restocks across locations.
  • Assist with planning and logistics for store events and promotions.
  • Communicate employee updates to HR and payroll for timely processing.
  • Maintain organized logs of store issues, resolutions, and repeat patterns.
  • Track and update sales reports across POS systems and delivery platforms.
  • Learn Teaspoon’s menu and offerings to support catering and customer questions.
  • Occasionally support with event setup and coordination as needed.
  • Respond to customer inquiries through calls, emails, and follow-ups.

Customer Service & Sales Support

  • Work assigned shifts to answer incoming customer service calls through our call center system.
  • Manage large catering and custom drink orders, ensuring smooth execution with store teams.
  • Gather and organize customer feedback to help improve service and offerings.
  • Identify upselling or add-on opportunities during customer interactions.

Job Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Fluent in English with the ability to make phone calls, send professional emails, and text with customers.
  • Willingness and ability to work late-night or evening hours to align with California (Pacific) time zone.
  • Experience in customer service, operations, or food & beverage support roles (preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and basic office software.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while staying accountable and organized.
  • Must have a reliable high-speed internet connection, stable electricity, and a quiet home workspace for phone and video calls.

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Experience with call centers, store/franchise support, or remote retail ops.
  • Familiarity with POS systems like Square, or Toast.
  • Previous work supporting food service or hospitality teams.
  • Bilingual (especially in Spanish, Chinese) is a plus.
