Job Description
Operations Responsibilities
- Act as the primary remote support contact for all Teaspoon store locations.
- Respond quickly to urgent store issues and coordinate resolutions with on-site staff.
- Follow up on maintenance requests and ensure timely completion.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate restocks across locations.
- Assist with planning and logistics for store events and promotions.
- Communicate employee updates to HR and payroll for timely processing.
- Maintain organized logs of store issues, resolutions, and repeat patterns.
- Track and update sales reports across POS systems and delivery platforms.
- Learn Teaspoon’s menu and offerings to support catering and customer questions.
- Occasionally support with event setup and coordination as needed.
- Respond to customer inquiries through calls, emails, and follow-ups.
Customer Service & Sales Support
- Work assigned shifts to answer incoming customer service calls through our call center system.
- Manage large catering and custom drink orders, ensuring smooth execution with store teams.
- Gather and organize customer feedback to help improve service and offerings.
- Identify upselling or add-on opportunities during customer interactions.
Job Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Fluent in English with the ability to make phone calls, send professional emails, and text with customers.
- Willingness and ability to work late-night or evening hours to align with California (Pacific) time zone.
- Experience in customer service, operations, or food & beverage support roles (preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and basic office software.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently while staying accountable and organized.
- Must have a reliable high-speed internet connection, stable electricity, and a quiet home workspace for phone and video calls.
Bonus Points If You Have
- Experience with call centers, store/franchise support, or remote retail ops.
- Familiarity with POS systems like Square, or Toast.
- Previous work supporting food service or hospitality teams.
- Bilingual (especially in Spanish, Chinese) is a plus.
