Job Summary:
We are looking for a results-driven and client-focused Account Manager to join our media sales team, specializing in out-of-home (OOH) advertising, particularly billboard sales. The ideal candidate will have experience in media sales, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to develop long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sell billboard and out-of-home advertising solutions to new and existing clients
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
- Identify client needs and provide customized advertising solutions
- Create and present sales proposals, media kits, and performance reports
- Negotiate contracts and close advertising deals to meet or exceed sales targets
- Work closely with internal teams (creative, operations, finance) to execute campaigns
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activity, and new opportunities in the OOH sector
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity, client communications, and contract details
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in media sales, preferably in out-of-home or billboard advertising
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently
- Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with media buying and planning processes
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field preferred
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally for client meetings
- Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of local and national advertising markets - Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
- Existing network of media/advertising industry contacts
