Job Description
- Evaluate and process credit applications for new and existing customers in accordance with company policies.
- Monitor customer accounts to identify overdue payments and proactively follow up to ensure timely collections.
- Maintain accurate records of credit approvals, denials, and modifications within the company’s financial systems.
- Conduct regular credit risk assessments and recommend appropriate credit limits based on financial analysis.
- Collaborate with sales, finance, and customer service teams to resolve credit-related issues and support business operations.
- Prepare and present credit reports, aging analyses, and collection forecasts to management.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, legal regulations, and industry standards related to credit management.
- Assist in the development and implementation of credit policies and procedures to optimize cash flow and minimize bad debt.
- Negotiate payment arrangements and settlements with customers as needed.
- Support external audits and provide necessary documentation related to credit and collections.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in credit administration, credit control, or accounts receivable.
- Strong understanding of credit risk assessment and financial analysis.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in using financial software and MS Office applications, especially Excel.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with relevant legal and regulatory requirements for credit management.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
- Experience in the manufacturing or textile industry is a plus.
