Job Description
- Manage the Credit risk, Credit control and Receivables Management functions.
- Set up and enforce the terms and conditions of receivable balances.
- Implement and ensure compliance with the Group Credit Policy.
- Supervise and provide guidance to credit controllers.
- Oversee the Credit Insurance policy, including renewals, declarations, limits approvals, and timely payments (Daily and Monthly).
- Prepare and review weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for senior management.
- Utilize data analytics, credit rating models, financial statement analysis, and other performance indicators (DSO, ADD) for portfolio analysis.
- Resolve disputed bills and negotiate payment terms with customers.
- Conduct customer visits to assess creditworthiness and build relationships.
- Approve credit limits and payment terms in accordance with the established approval matrix and level of authority.
- Follow up on accounts receivables and overdue accounts using weekly aging reports.
- Maintain and manage customer credit files and legal documents.
- Collaborate effectively with other internal departments.
- Propose legal actions and write-offs for irrevocable receivables.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Relevant professional certification is a plus.
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar field.
- Excellent knowledge of corporate credit investigations & analysis, financial statement analysis, and receivables management.
- Proven experience in managing credit risk and collections.
- Excellent command of both English and Arabic, both spoken and written.
- Proficiency in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office (Excel, Word). Practical experience with an ERP system is highly preferred.
