Job Description
For on of our Clients :B2B Commercial Industry
Duties:
- Manage and monitor accounts receivable to ensure timely collection of outstanding payments.
- Contact clients via phone, email, and written correspondence to follow up on overdue accounts and resolve payment issues.
- Negotiate payment plans and settlements with clients in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of all collection activities, communications, and payment arrangements.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as sales, finance, and customer service to resolve billing discrepancies and disputes.
- Prepare regular reports on collection status, aging accounts, and cash flow forecasts for management review.
- Assess creditworthiness of new and existing clients and recommend credit limits or actions as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies regarding collections and data privacy.
- Escalate unresolved accounts to legal or external collection agencies when necessary.
- Continuously seek process improvements to increase collection efficiency and reduce bad debt.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience in collections, accounts receivable, or credit control.
- Strong understanding of collection techniques, negotiation strategies, and credit risk assessment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interactions.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle difficult conversations professionally.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and achieve collection targets.
- Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations governing collections and data privacy.
