JOB TITLEFinance Executive | MAF Entertainment | Head Office (B0001C)Role SummaryThis role reports to the Senior Finance Manager of the Studio Distribution team. Its primary responsibility is to support the business unit's Accounts Receivable function, focusing more on collection efforts and reconciliation of outstanding balance of Exhibitors.ROLE PROFILEMonitor receivable aging reports, review customer SOAs, and perform follow-ups via various channels (email, calls, WhatsApp) to ensure timely collections.Resolve reconciliation issues raised by Exhibitors and support the Global Solutions team in accurate payment tagging to keep SOAs updated.Identify and escalate issues with slow-paying or non-responsive customers to the Business Unit management.Escalate slow-paying or non-responsive customers to the Business Unit management team for further action.Handle additional tasks as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and initiative.Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for ongoing interaction with Exhibitors and internal teams, including senior management.Experience in receivables is preferred; understanding the cinema industry is an added advantage. Must be highly accurate and detail-oriented in managing large data sets.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, multitask effectively, and manage time well under pressure.RequirementsMinimum of 1 year of finance experienceBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance requiredFinance certifications (CPA, CFA, ACCA, and equivalent) are an advantage.Familiarity with the cinema industry is beneficial.Strong accuracy and precision in handling large datasets.Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and work independently.
