Job Title: Internal Financial Auditor

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Internal Financial Auditor to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy, transparency, and integrity of our financial operations, while supporting management in strengthening internal controls and optimizing efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and audit revenue and expense cycles to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all transactions are properly recorded.
- Reconcile and verify asset and inventory records.
- Evaluate and test the effectiveness of internal controls, recommending improvements where needed.
- Prepare and present audit reports, highlighting findings and corrective action plans.
- Lead or support special investigations as assigned by management.
- Reconcile bookings and commissions with OTA platforms according to agreed terms.
- Audit field trips: verify cash advances to drivers/guides, guest receipts, and tips (if applicable).
- Monitor asset maintenance (boats, ATVs, vehicles) and assess its impact on costs and service quality.
- Verify the proper accounting and operational application of the No-Show/Refund policy.

Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in internal auditing, finance, or accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
- Strong English language skills (professional level).
- Preferred certifications: CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) or CPA (Certified Public Accountant).
- Possession of a personal computer or laptop for remote work.
Additional Information:
- Reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and/or Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
- This role has no payment or disbursement authority.
