Maintain and update the fixed assets register, ensuring all acquisitions, disposals, and transfers are accurately recorded.
Perform periodic physical verification of fixed assets and reconcile discrepancies with accounting records.
Prepare and process monthly depreciation schedules in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
Coordinate with project and site teams to track asset movements and ensure proper tagging and documentation.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements by providing detailed fixed asset reports and supporting schedules.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and external audit requirements related to fixed assets.
Support annual audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations regarding fixed asset transactions.
Analyze asset utilization and recommend improvements for asset management and cost optimization.
Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to validate asset capitalization and classification.
Assist in the implementation and enhancement of fixed asset management systems and processes.

● Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

● 3 to 5 years of experience in fixed assets accounting or a similar accounting role.

● Strong understanding of accounting principles and fixed asset management practices.

● Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

● Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

● Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

● Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

● Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

● Experience in the construction or contracting industry is an advantage.

● Familiarity with ERP systems is preferred.
