Job Description
- Designing and implementing computer networks
- Configuring network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other devices
- Monitoring network performance and troubleshooting issues as they arise
- Ensuring network security and reliability by implementing appropriate security measures and protocols
- Collaborating with other IT professionals to plan and execute network upgrades and expansions
- Providing technical support to users, including diagnosing and resolving network-related issues
- Documenting network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides
- Staying up-to-date with emerging networking technologies and trends
Job Requirements
- Proven hands-on network engineering experience
- CCNP
- Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS)
- Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model
- Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools
- University degree in Computer Science or a related subject
