Job Description
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies specific to the Food & Beverage category.
- Source, evaluate, and manage relationships with reliable suppliers and vendors locally and internationally.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms to achieve best value while ensuring consistent supply and quality.
- Analyze purchasing trends and market conditions to identify new opportunities and cost-saving initiatives.
- Ensure timely ordering and delivery of F&B supplies in line with operational schedules and inventory levels.
- Monitor supplier performance and compliance with company standards, quality requirements, and food safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory in procurement systems.
- Manage the procurement budget and report on cost control and efficiency metrics.
- Stay updated on market trends, innovations, and regulatory changes in the F&B industry.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–7 years of experience in purchasing/procurement, with at least 3 years in the Food & Beverage sector.
- Strong knowledge of F&B sourcing, supplier management, and procurement best practices.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulatory compliance is highly desirable.
- Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.
