Job Description
- Source and evaluate new suppliers and products based on business needs.
- Issue purchase orders and follow up to ensure timely and complete deliveries.
- Maintain and regularly update the supplier database and price lists.
- Support negotiations on pricing, payment terms, and delivery timelines.
- Monitor supplier performance and flag any issues with lead time, pricing, or quality.
- Resolve purchase-related discrepancies (e.g., delays, quality concerns, mismatched invoices).
- Coordinate with inventory, finance, sales, and operations to align purchasing with demand.
- Track stock levels to avoid overstocking or stock outs.
- Prepare purchasing reports, cost breakdowns, and spend analysis when needed.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 3–6 years of relevant experience in purchasing, procurement, FMCG, e-commerce, or supply chain.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Solid Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, basic analysis).
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Self-motivated and proactive with a collaborative attitude.
