Job Description
- Supervise quality checks during welding, painting, and steel fabrication.
- Inspect welds visually and with NDT (UT, MT, PT) to ensure they meet standards.
- Inspect painting and coating, including surface preparation, paint thickness, and final finish.
- Check steel structures and ensure all work matches engineering drawings and project specs.
- Read and understand engineering drawings, especially related to steel works.
- Prepare daily and weekly quality reports.
- Work with welding, painting, and steel teams to fix any problems.
- Ensure safety and quality rules are followed.
- Assist during site audits or inspections.
Job Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in quality control.
- Experience in steel structure fabrication and inspection.
- Good knowledge of welding inspection and NDT methods.
- Experience in coating/painting inspection and using tools like Elcometer.
