Assembly Lines Process Engineer

1. Designing and implementing assembly processes for small kitchen home appliances, including developing procedures for the assembly of components and subassemblies, as well as for the testing and inspection of finished products.

2. Developing and maintaining standard work instructions for assembly processes, including identifying and documenting best practices and improvements.

3. Conducting time and motion studies to determine the most efficient assembly processes, and making recommendations for improvements to equipment, workstations, and processes.

4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and manufacturing engineers to ensure that products can be assembled efficiently, reliably, and cost-effectively.

5. Developing and maintaining process documentation, including process flow diagrams, work instructions, and quality control procedures.

6. Conducting root cause analyses to identify and address issues related to product quality, production efficiency, and safety.

7. Developing and implementing quality control procedures, including performing statistical process control and making recommendations for process improvements to achieve quality goals.

8. Collaborating with suppliers to ensure that parts and components meet quality and performance standards, and making recommendations for improvements to supplier processes and procedures.

9. Training production staff on assembly processes and procedures, including safety, quality, and efficiency.

10. Staying up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in technology, materials, and manufacturing processes, and making recommendations for improvements to existing products and processes.

11. Adhering to all safety guidelines and regulations, and promoting a culture of safety within the organization.
