Product & Manufacturing Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Engineering & Documentation:
• Develop technical drawings, cut lists, and Bills of Materials (BOM) for furniture products.
• Collaborate with designers to translate concepts into production-ready specifications.
• Conduct prototype testing, document findings, and implement iterative improvements.
• Maintain complete engineering documentation for smooth handover to production teams.
• Manufacturing & Quality Control:
• Supervise CNC machining, edge-banding, laminating, and assembly operations.
• Ensure manufacturing processes adhere to specifications and design intent.
• Implement quality control procedures, conduct inspections, and troubleshoot defects.
• Apply lean manufacturing principles to improve productivity and reduce waste.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of mechanical design and furniture joinery techniques.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks).
• Experience with CNC machinery and woodworking production processes.
• Understanding of materials selection and cost optimization.
• Ability to create accurate BOMs and cutlists
• Excellent problem-solving and process improvement mindset.
• Strong organizational skills with a focus on quality and deadlines
