Job Description
- Supervise and coordinate on-site wood installation activities to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Interpret and implement technical drawings for wood production, specifications, and project plans.
- Monitor work progress, quality, and compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Conduct regular site inspections and prepare detailed progress reports for management.
- Resolve technical issues and provide practical solutions to challenges encountered on site.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines, cost estimates, and quality benchmarks.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to achieve project objectives.
- Maintain accurate documentation of site activities, including daily logs and incident reports.
- Promote and enforce a culture of safety, ensuring all team members adhere to health and safety protocols.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 4 to 8 years of proven experience in a site engineering or similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Proficient in using construction management software and MS Office Suite.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Experience working in an on-site (office-based) environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as required by project demands.
