Kano State government of Nigeria wish to hire Egyptian expatriate with a minimum of 5 years of experience to work in Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and prepare engineering drawings and specifications for electrical installations in public buildings, roads, and infrastructure projects.
• Supervise electrical works on-site to ensure compliance with design standards, safety regulations, and project timelines.
• Evaluate and maintain public electrical systems including transformers, substations, switchgears, and backup generators.
• Conduct energy audits and recommend energy-saving measures for government facilities.
• Collaborate with civil, structural, and mechanical engineers on multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects.
• Monitor the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems in new or rehabilitated government projects.
• Prepare project reports, technical documentation, and progress updates for senior management.
• Inspect and certify electrical works for quality control and regulatory compliance.
• Assist in developing technical specifications for tenders and procurement of electrical materials.
• Ensure compliance with Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) standards and National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Provide mentorship and supervision to junior engineers and technicians.
