Electrical qualifications are essential supported by a good level of mechanical awareness.
Proven work experience in the Engineering department as an Electrical Project Engineer, Electrical Engineer, or a similar role
Electrical substations background
Experience working in manufacturing or heavy industry would be advantageous
Experience in project management.
Experience in the design and implementation of projects
Experience with CAD software and MS Office.
Working knowledge and experience in managing safety to include job risk assessments, safety audits, and other safety protocols for example isolation and LOTO
Working knowledge and experience in the application of engineering fault finding skills, root cause analysis, and similar problem-solving tools.
Daily situational management and the allocation of work.
Managing safety and driving a zero-harm safety culture in all that we do through example, training, and audits.
Must be self-motivated and able to work unsupervised.
