Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Salesforce CRM Specialist to help optimize our sales operations, with a strong focus on customizing Salesforce to fit our niche industry workflows (construction scheduling, government contracting, and logistics). This role will help us track leads, automate pipelines, manage project bids, and improve visibility on where deals are in the pipeline.
You will work directly with the founder and help operationalize a lean, high-touch sales cycle — integrating email workflows, follow-up automation, opportunity tracking, and later marketing and field project tools.
CRM Customization (Primary Focus)
Customize Salesforce objects, fields, and layouts to reflect industry-specific sales (e.g., proposal tracking, government project cycles, DOT bid timelines).
Set up automated pipelines and stage tracking (e.g., Prebid, Proposal Sent, Awaiting Award, Follow-up, Rejected, Won).
Create dashboards and reports that reflect real-time sales and forecasting needs.
???? Lead & Contact Management
Organize leads by agency type (GSA, NAVFAC, State DOTs, Freight Clients).
Implement auto-reminders, lead scoring, and prioritization rules.
Design outreach templates and standard call/email follow-ups.
???? Marketing & Outreach (Phase 2)
Set up Pardot or Marketing Cloud integrations (or recommend alternatives).
Build simple email workflows for newsletters, drip campaigns, and re-engagement.
???? Customer Support & Project Onboarding (Phase 3)
Design support ticket flow for clients to submit project questions or delays.
Create onboarding checklists inside Salesforce for new customers or projects.
Job Requirements
Required:
3+ years hands-on Salesforce experience (Sales Cloud essential)
Strong understanding of CRM strategy, sales pipelines, and automation workflows
Experience customizing Salesforce layouts, page views, objects, flows, and reporting
Excellent understanding of B2B sales cycles — ideally in construction, logistics, or professional services
Able to translate business needs into CRM logic and flows (high autonomy)
