Job Description
Urgently Required – QC Inspector For a factory specialized in metal industries and welding, located in Cairo
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform visual inspection of welds to ensure compliance with specifications and codes (ASME / AWS / API).
- Review engineering drawings (Fabrication Drawings & Welding Symbols) before and during execution.
- Monitor implementation of the Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) and document results in technical reports.
- Ensure that raw materials and final products meet quality and safety standards.
- Prepare inspection reports, document results, and submit them to management.
- Follow up on the implementation of quality control (QC) procedures, analyze defect causes, and propose improvements.
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Production, or related field) or specialized technical diploma.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in quality inspection within metal industries and welding.
- Familiarity with international codes (ASME / AWS / API).
- Ability to read technical drawings and engineering details.
- Proficiency in using measurement and inspection tools.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Preferably holding NDT Level II welding inspection certificates or accredited quality certifications.
- Full-time.
- Salary: Based on experience and qualifications.
- Preference for residents of Greater Cairo.
